Packaging Benefits

  • Use the exact Formulation you have already chosen for your application.

  • Keep your employees busy at manufacturing, not packaging glues.

  • Reduce the amount of time spent on Hazardous Material Handling.

  • Reduce Down time.

  • Increase throughput.

  • Customized Cartons, Labels, Instruction Sheets.

  • Single Point Purchasing.

  • Material modification, if required.

  • Material Degassing.

  • Private Labeling.

IDS representatives are chosen for their expertise in the specific field of assembly, dispensing and related manufacturing applications. You will find them able to supply you with all of the expertise and equipment necessary to support your manufacturing efforts in the dispensing of fluids and the items that relate to it.

Dual Component Materials

Dual Cartridges

IDS dual cartridge systems are high quality plastic units proven to give exceptional service. These systems are designed for parts-by-volume ratios of 1:1, 2:1, 4:1 and 10:1.

These cartridges can eliminate the need for costly meter/mix equipment while maintaining the principles of meter/mix. Different static mix nozzles can be used, giving a thorough and homogenous blend of material. Flow restrictors are used to diminish the flow of low viscosity materials eliminating material crossover in the barrels.

In addition to Dual Cartridges, we can also package your two component in the new, Universal Cartridge, a system that can work with a standard cartridge gun.

Pre-Mixed and Frozen Epoxies

When the work life of your two part epoxies is greater than 30 minutes, consider this alternative to dual cartridge dispensing. It is excellent when a ratio is needed that is other than the standard cartridges offer.

In this method, we mix Part A and Part B of a material at MSDS specified ratios. The mixture is brought to an homogeneous blend, placed into the customer chosen container (usually a syringe) and immediately brought to a temperature of 90 – 100 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. This immediately suspends any chemical reaction that is needed for material cure. Frozen containers are packed in dry ice and shipped to you overnight express, at which point you store them in a -40C (and -40F) super cold freezer storage unit for Premixed/Frozen epoxies.

Use this kind of packaging to eliminate the need for repeated batch mixing and where you may wish to take the time consuming task of ratio-weighing and material mixing out of the hands of production personnel. This tried and true method makes it possible for you to continue to use a safe and accurate dispensing system.
